The Pebble-Mini from Enhanced Vision

Enhanced Vision has launched the Pebble-Mini, a smaller version of its Pebble portable electronic magnifier designed to help people with low vision perform daily reading tasks. The Pebble-Mini retails for $295.

Pebble-Mini features include:

  • Bright, 3-inch LCD display that magnifies text and images from 2X to 10X
  • Choice of 28 viewing modes and adjustable brightness
  • "Freeze image" feature that supports mode and magnification changes
  • Image capture with save and recall
  • Hands-free reading stand
  • USB charger (AC or PC)
  • Protective pouch and neck strap
  • 2-year warranty

The Pebble Mini is about $200 cheaper than the Pebble, placing it among the least expensive portable CCTVs on the market.
Mobile apps such as VisionAssist for Apple iOS devices, however, cost $5.99. VisionAssist offers many of the same features as the Pebble, though the optics are inferior.

An outstanding share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a friend who has been conducting a little homework on this. And he in fact bought me dinner simply because I discovered it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending the time to talk about this issue here on your site.
