Whether You Sign, Type, or Talk, iCommunicator Translates to for Real-Time Conversations

By October 30, 2012

Follow me on:

The iCommunicator helps deaf talk in real time.

The iCommunicator is an application (it includes both hardware and software) that enables real-time conversations between deaf and hearing persons.

The solution combines assistive technologies such as voice recognition, text to speech, and a database of sign language video clips that quickly translate spoken language and signs into text or speech.

The ability to converse more effectively with the hearing world can make education easier for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. Using iCommunicator can also help create more employment opportunities and make companies more accessible.
