ZoomReader iOS App Makes Text More Accessible to Visually Impaired People On the Go

ZoomReader iOS app

One app can now combine assistive technologies that once required purchasing multiple applications and peripherals.

ZoomReader, for example, gives visually impaired people access to magnification, OCR scanning, text-to-speech, voice recognition, and the ability to share files via email -- all in one iOS app that costs $19.99.

The app makes it easy to read what you need at all times. Can't see the phone number? Click a picture of the page on your iPhone, scan it, and let ZoomReader read it to you. The same goes for street signs, menus, bills, and more.

ZoomReader can increase independence and dignity for persons with low-vision. No longer having to ask for help removes much of the stress associated with venturing out.
