RoboBraille is a free online service that converts text documents into braille or audio files. Users upload files to the RoboBraille site. The files are converted and users receiver an email notification with links to the new files.
The service is designed to give people who are blind, visually impaired, learning disabled, or illiterate instant access to text documents in a format they can read.
The first step is accessing RoboBraille Online and selecting the text document you wish to convert.
To do this, click "Browse," choose the desired document on your system, and click "Upload."
RoboBraille can convert 22 different text file types, including PDF files scanned as images. The service also supports seven languages, including Danish, English, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, and Portuguese.
